Blocks of Colour - Alexander McQueen Menswear A/W 2011

Colour flashing(Socks and inside of blazers) is something that men get a kick out of. If a man's uniform consists of colours such as black, brown and grey, a bright accessory that is only occasionally on show can really enhance colours and style when cleverly matched.

Tabio's 100% cotton ribbed socks would be ideal for this as with bright colours such as Red, Pink and Green, a little colour flashing would be a very bright affair indeed.

Patterned socks can also be used in this manner but for clothing that can be as expressive as Alexander McQueen, blocked colours are best.

 This Winter Prada are experimenting with socks. Usually an accessory that is hidden or only revealed once a trouser leg is lifted, Prada have made Socks, a high calf length to be the forefront Accessory of their collection.

With blocked coloured stripes and vintage paisley diamonds, this new season is definitely more sock friendly, with socks of all colours that can be experimented with to suit your outfit.

Trends of the sock - Dolce and Gabbana Menswear A/W 2011

Dolce and Gabbana have gone with a slight 1950's look with smart and casual trouser turn ups revealing their Delicious Socks underneath. Dolce and Gabbana have gone for neutral colours with their collection for the new season with this sort of style, your socks could easily feature and be a signature piece of your style and outfit.

Maybe try matching with Tabio's 100% Cotton Ribbed socks but instead of a Conservative black or grey, try a bring colour, like a green, pink or yellow to really draw attention to the details of your ensemble.
